A Tandem Skydive is designed to give complete beginners to the sport an initial taste of freefall. You will be attached to an experienced Tandem Instructor throughout your jump.

Your Tandem Skydive starts with a 30 minute briefing where the parachute equipment is demonstrated and its operation explained to you. You will then practise your aircraft exit and freefall position.

Your plane takes about 20 minutes to ascend to exit altitude and, securely attached to your instructor, you are in freefall for approximately 45 seconds. Your instructor deploys the main parachute at 5,000 feet and using dual control steering you will spend another 5 minutes gliding down together to the club target area.
